Community based Management of Malnutrition (CBMM) in Tribal Community

Trust With Heart is committed to improving the health and nutritional well-being of children and families in tribal communities through Community-Based Management of Malnutrition (CBMM). The program focuses on identifying malnourished children at an early stage and providing timely nutritional support, care, and guidance within the community. By working closely with tribal families, local communities, and frontline workers, the initiative aims to ensure that children receive the care they need in a familiar and supportive environment.

Through CBMM, Trust With Heart promotes regular growth monitoring, nutrition counselling, awareness about balanced diets, breastfeeding, hygiene, and appropriate child care practices. Families are supported with practical knowledge and guidance on locally available nutritious foods, while children identified with malnutrition are monitored regularly for improvement. The approach also encourages active participation of parents and community members so that nutritional care becomes a shared responsibility.

The initiative aims to create sustainable improvements in the nutritional status of tribal children by strengthening community awareness and encouraging early action against malnutrition. Trust With Heart works toward building healthier families and empowered communities where every child has access to proper nutrition, care, and opportunities for healthy growth and development.
